Program: On Monday, August 19, the Rotary Club of Casper is pleased to welcome Jennifer Simon, MTS, founder and principal of JMSimon Consulting, as its speaker at its noon luncheon meeting at the Ramkota Inn. Simon will be discussing the Gender Wage Gap. Rotary Club members and their guests are invited.
Simon’s work at JMSimon Consulting focuses on gender, healthcare and democracy building, and fosters solutions through civic engagement. Governor Mead appointed her to the Wyoming Council on Women’s Issues in 2015 where she currently serves as Vice Chair. She founded the Wyoming Women’s Action Network, focused on improving women’s economic security, access to healthcare, and representation in the Equality State and presents and facilitates on the role of women in revitalizing Wyoming’s economy. She is co-founder off Womentum, a mentoring program created to empower women. Soroptomist recognized her in 2017 with the Ruby Award for Women Helping Women.
Simon is a member of the board of Wyoming 211; an Emeritus member of Womentum’s board, and a 2005 graduate of Leadership Wyoming. She holds a Master of Theological Studies from Vanderbilt Divinity School and a B.B. from Colorado College. She resides with her husband, Adam, in Teton County
