Last Meeting October 10^th, 2006

Pres Keith welcomed Rotarians and guests and asked PP Jeff to lead us in the National Anthem and PP David the Rotary Grace.

Attendance :   We had 24 in attendance this week, which included 5 guests.    PP Owen's wife Pamela, Doug Lewis from the Salvation Army, Gerrie Rtn Ray's guest, Lena the guest of our speaker and Leonard our exchange student.

The welcome song to our guests was led by once again by our own, the one and only  PP Jim!

Student Loan Fund :  Rtn Ray collected and our guest speaker Glenn Caisey drew the winning tickets.  PP David won the first cash prize with Rtn Monroe trying for the Ace of Hearts for the jackpot.  However, this was not his lucky day and so the jackpot remains.

 

Business:

?   Bermuda Olympic Ass. Tag Day    Pres Keith thanked those who assisted with the recent Tag Day, the B.O.A. were very appreciative of our help.

?   ON TO BERMUDA Pres Keith asked members to indicate which of the functions they will be supporting, Home Hospitality, Governors Banquet and Boat cruise, on the form he has circulated.

   Please make an effort to attend the events to show the support of our club
