HRC Raffle
: As time is getting on for our raffle in October Pres Chris has been trying to find out from Dir Joanne, who has been off the
Halloween Party - Club Fund Raiser
: Dir Joy ran over the outline for this fund raiser that she is spearheading. It will be held at Joy's house on 30th October with 15 tables of eight, with dinner, and will cost $125 per person. Dir Joy has arranged with Volcanic Productions to loan us their equipment for the event. There will be 100 balloons on sale for $20 each which will have a number inside that will be exchanged for a surprise gift. Dir Joy is looking for each of us to provide at least one wrapped gift, which does not necessarily need to be something new, but with a minimum value of $20 to be used as a surprise gift. In the spirit of Rotary and the support of your club, please support Dir Joy and her committee in this effort even if you will not be able to attend.
Lunch:
The directors resolved that we should keep the cost of lunch for Rotarians at $27 but reduce the cost for guests to $25. The additional two dollars from each member will be used toward the cost of lunches for our exchange students and the speaker.
International Project
: Dir Jim ran over the project we are working on to support Bermudian Diane Kirwin and Kirff Bodgy in
Honorary Membership
: Pres Chris proposed a motion to the club that we make Pam Darrell an Honorary Member, which was agreed unanimously.
