Vocational Team report - March

 

 

 

Agreed with Unley Road Traders association to hold presentation ceremony on the 23^rd July 2024.

 

An enhanced Poster design has been drafted and will be shared with the Traders Association.

Objective is to give greater emphasis to the Pride Of Workmanship Award(s)

 

Have a booking for the Small Business Commissioner to attend this year’s awards evening.

(Unable to attend last year)

 

 

Kick off meeting on the 7^th of March.

 

Suggestion to hold the presentation ceremony in the Goyder Hall to avoid wet days, does seem unlikely as the Police B and cannot be scheduled either side of the event. Will discuss further.

 

Usual project plan to be implemented.

 

 

Met with Alyssa Hill from the Unley Council. Very supportive and they have provided a detailed list of schools.

 

Schools not necessarily located in the Council boundaries should be considered where a major part of their zones pass within the boundary.

 

Also suggested adding a category for preschool / kindergartens. Committee to consider.

 

General consensus is to proceed.
