The Eye as a Window to the Brain

Speaker:  Dr Jeremiah Lim

Dr Jeremiah Lim first qualified as an Optometrist in Singapore in 2005 where he worked in private practice and in a public hospital setting. He graduated from Melbourne University in 2009 with distinction and has since practised across more than 50 locations across Victoria. In 2010, he embarked on an MPhil program having secured the competitive Melbourne International Scholarship. Having completed his higher degree in 2012, he returned for a PhD in 2013 after securing the prestigious Melbourne Neuroscience Institute STRAPA award for clinicians. Based at the Melbourne Brain Centre, his research on ocular biomarkers has attracted international attention.
