Establishing an International Surgical Program.

Rob Parkyn has been active in research and development in Endocrine Surgery particularly in the areas of Minimally Invasive Parathyroidectomy and Surgeon Performed Ultrasonography. He has contributed extensively to International Teaching in Breast and Endocrine Surgery, particularly in Asia and is Past President of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons. He is currently on the Executive of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons and established and is current Chair of “INTEREST”, an outreach program of the IAES, sending endocrine surgical teams around the world teaching and operating in the third world.
