Club History
At the Del Paso Country Club on the evening of February 23, 1955, exactly 50 years from the evening of February 23, 1905, when Paul Harris called the first meeting of Rotary, the "Golden Anniversary Club" of Arden-Arcade was chartered. Ray McClure, a Past-President of our sponsoring club, North Sacramento, accepted the charter as founding President on behalf of his new 22 member club.

As the membership multiplied in a few short years this new club established itself as a prominent force in the community. Pride of membership  in Arden-Arcade is evident in new members as they become aware of their club's activities in District 5180. Our programs to support youth projects, scholarships, and international service have been consistently maintained by the members over the years and our Foundation is working to support them in long into the future.
