The City Council of Edmond deemed it appropriate to create a committee consisting of 15 members to review & provide recommendations in coordination with Oklahoma's Centennial Celebration commemorating its 100th year of statehood.
The Commission's stated purpose is the creation & implementation of projects and activities to create and enlarge the qualities relating to the history of the City of Edmond for the inspiration and benefit of the people of the City of Edmond.
