Maureen Cahill Discusses Smile Network International

Maureen Cahill, Executive Director of the Smile Network, at today's Prior Lake Rotary meeting. Smile Network International is a non-profit organization devoted to changing the lives of impoverished children with cleft lips and palates by providing them with free operations. Maureen showed us a video from channel 5's "On the Road" TV show with Jason Davis, where the Smile Network volunteers visited Peru. Volunteers, including doctors and nurses, from Minnesota, Canada, and Mexico travel to provide the free medical services to the needy. In 2013, they expect to perform from 700 to 1000 operations.
