The Fasching Bus is a social event that is based on my experience while living in Germany. The one day affair is modeled after a “Fasching mystery (party) train” a very festive experience I enjoyed each year.

Please arrive no later than 9:20 to 9:30 Am to register and obtain your bus assignment. Everyone will receive a Prosecco and an orange juice to enjoy on the ride to our destination.

The buses will leave promptly at 9:45 Am.

You may purchase tickets from any Rotary Club of Historic Folsom club member or online through Brown Paper Tickets: http://luxurymysterybus.bpt.me

If you purchase your tickets online they will be available at registration the morning of the event. Please remember there are only 160 tickets and they are going quickly!

It will be a grand day - rain or shine!

Thank you,

Ken Sheffer

President, Rotary Club of historic Folsom

The carnival season in Germany, also known as the “fifth season” begins each year in November and finishes on Ash Wednesday of the following year.

While Carnival week with masquerade balls, parades, and street dances usually takes place the final week prior to Ash Wednesday,

many towns or regions have their own traditions such as beginning the carnival season with a “mystery party train” or other festive celebration events.
