Shameless Plea for TLP
As many of you know, I am a member of the board of directors of the Teton Literacy Program. As such, I want to take this opportunity thank all those who helped out at the Luncheon for Literacy on March 14th, during which we raised over $35,000 for TLP. I especially want to thank the 22 Rotarians who stepped up to purchase 22 "pavers" at $250 each.Â
I will now make a final shameless plea to anyone interested in purchasing one of the many remaining pavers, since time is running out before TLP must order these engraved bricks to pave the "Pathway to Literacy" before the grand opening ceremony for our new permanent home. These pavers will form the walkway leading into TLP's new offices across the soccer field from Colter Elementary School. Anyone interested in helping TLP and literacy in Jackson Hole can contact Julie Cheek, Tim Bradley, Francine Carraro or me about the many ongoing opportunities to support this worthy organization.
