Rotary Youth Mental Health Financial Assistance

"When you have a downfall, it is an opportunity for a comeback"

The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst is the grateful recipient of a substantial amount of money from a generous benefactor from which we draw funds to assist our youth in town.  The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst Youth Mental Health Committee can help people who are experiencing mental crisis and have reached out to an advocate and who do not have the funds to support their needs.

To be eligible, you must be a resident of Gravenhurst aged 5 to 29

We will pay the therapist or the professional, not the individual

How Can We Help?

Through an advocate such as Mind-Aid or Trillium Lakeland District School Board or other professionals, we are provided anonymous information on a resident needing immediate help for their mental health crisis.  With long wait lines for psychiatric assistance, we are often asked to pay for therapy sessions from local counsellors.  Once review, we approve or reject the request.

How to Apply for Financial Assistance

Contact your school or Mind-Aid or another advocate, who in turn will contact us for assistance.

Donations to our Rotary Club are always welcomed
