The Gravenhurst Rotary Club is pleased to recognize each month students from Gravenhurst High School.. These sudents  are selected by their teachers and the staff as great examples of the calibre of students attending school in Gravenhurst.

Chris McNeice , a grade 9 student leads by example.  He is always working with other people to bring out their best…by helping them in the classroom; by challenging them to match his enthusiasm and by kindly and respectfully accepting everyone for who they are.  He throws himself at every extracurricular opportunity that comes his way; he’s a high achiever in the classroom who is committed to doing his best work all the time and is electric in his characters both off and on the stage.

Jazmine Engel was selected for her positive attitude.   She always has a smile on her face and a kind word for everyone who crosses her path.  She encourages everyone to express their individuality and tries to make others feel comfortable and supported.  Jazmine works hard to help her classmates practise acceptance and to see the good in one another.  She is enthusiastic about her academics and extracurriculars and her positivity is radiant throughout the school.

McKenzie Barnes and Jenna Godfrey were selected as a team for their outstanding 2nd semester work on the GHS yearbook.  Self-motivated and exceptionally reliable they readily took on this project from the first semester class and completed independently this huge job, working tirelessly taking photos of all the events and supplying written content.  Their hard work has paid off as the yearbook looks awesome.

Congratulations to all the winners.   We are proud of each and every one !   (Photo by Barb McCabe)
