Partnership Forum in Ottawa

The Rotary Club of Gravenhurst was delighted with the calibre of students from GHS who were selected to attend Forums in Ottawa.  This 5 day adventure allowed the students to experience the workings of our government, including  our House of Commons, Senate, etc.  Comments included “fantastic – learned so much”  Our five students met other teens from all across Canada and shared stories of their day to day living in the various towns, cities.   This type of exchange remains with the students for many many years.  Some even mentioned that they are now seriously considering a career path in politics.  Our students continue to make our town very proud !
