Notes from Nov 10th Meeting

Meeting Notes - this meeting featured primarily two topics in a Club Assembly format.   Firstly Dick Augustine with help from Enno presented a summary of the information which was later emailed to the Membership.   The current Treasurer job was broken down into assistant treasurer, treasurer, finance committee and front desk.  Each of the jobs was given a job description and also a timeline was given - the highest priority is to find an Assistant Treasurer by the end of this calendar year.   Dick has done an admirable job since 2001 and it is about time he was given an opportunity to relax from that position.   Please think about filling this position if you have some aptitude at the necessary jobs.    Secondly Theresa gave an update on the TV/Internet Auction which takes place on Sunday December 7th.   We have over 300 items and the flyer has gone to press and additional items have been entered into the system.   Thanks to everyone for getting their items in however we still end up with some last minute items that always seem to come in and make some of us scramble to get things entered.   It is an exciting new website that we have for our Auction this year so no doubt we may have some growing pains but take a peek as items are uploaded now and soon will be opened up to the public for bidding.  http://www.gravenhurstrotaryauction.com
