The picnic shelter, which was built by Rotary in 2005 to celebrate Rotary's 100th year, is now in the process of being doubled in size. Many groups use this shelter for picnics (even weddings) so the extended covered area will add greatly to the usage year round. While in the park please check out our Rotary Friendship Circle (unfortunately graffiti has been noted on these lovely stone benches). Also, and brand new to the park is our 5-hole Frisbee golf course (photo attached). So, kids and parents and grandparents, time to challenge one another and hone your throwin

Once again another wonderful project has been completed at Gull Lake Rotary Park. Please see some of the pics below and see the finished product and those that helped in the creation of the Circle. What a wonderful setting and no doubt will provide a wonderful experience for so many who come to visit Gull Lake Rotary Park. Kudos to Brian Ferguson, Barb McCabe and Bonnie Dart on the completion of the first phase of our Gull Lake Rotary Park enhancement plan. Thanks to these three , the generosity of the Muskoka Rock Company, the assistance of Steve Waite and his Boom truck and the volunteer help of Curtis Humber , Rick Sellon , Jim Goodwin, Jim Reynolds and Jack Young , the Rotary Friendship Circle is now in place and already, several members of the community have given us nothing but positive praise for this endeavour.

Thanks to Barb McCabe for the picture this is to show off the new sign promoting the Rotary Pathway Project at Gull Lake Rotary Park. The push is on to get more stones sold and we all need the energy of Norm Rippon to keep selling them !

Don't forget that our meeting on Monday is at noon at Gull Lake Rotary Park at the Rotary picnic shelter. You need to bring a brown bag lunch and a lawn chair if possible as there are only a few tables at the shelter. At that time, Brian , Barb and Norm will be talking about our Pathway Project plans.
