World Polio Day Bike-a-thon

World Polio Day was established by Rotary International over a decade ago to commemorate the birth of Jonas Salk, who led the first team to develop a vaccine against poliomyelitis (polio).

In honor of World Polio Day Sunrise Rotary Club of Plattsburgh is hosting a bike-a-thon on October 19. Join us from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods at Champlain Centre. Can’t join us – no worries you can donate to end polio via Venmo @SunriseRotaryClub-OfPlattsburgh!
