Discover Service & Earth Day Festival
Plattsburgh, N.Y.— The City of Plattsburgh invites organizations, clubs or businesses to join us on Saturday, April 22 from 12p.m.-4p.m. at the City Recreation Center & US Oval for Discover Service & Earth Day Festival. This is an opportunity for clubs and organizations to recruit new volunteers as well as engage our community in Earth-friendly activities!
We will provide a table and chairs and the people! In 2016, more than 20 non-profit organizations participated, each yielding new volunteers for their group.
But there is more! Outside of the Recreation Center will be Earth Day activities and live music for all to enjoy. At 12:15, the talented Reggae band, Izland Tonik will perform to be followed by the one and only Roy Hurd at 1:30p.m. The Earth Day festivities will take place just outside of the City Recreation Center in the Oval.
