We will learn about life in an arts-focused school, and hear about the great service work that these students perform through Interact, which is part of the Rotary family aimed at high-school aged people. During these casual gatherings, we will highlight service opportunities (or plan upcoming service events). In November, we will hear from the organizers of our MSTI holiday delivery project - providing relief and gifts for families impacted by cancer.
If you're interested in sitting in a short committee meeting for an upcoming Friend-Raiser, join a few of us early--at 12-noon.

History of Idaho Broadcasting Museum with Art Gregory. Earlier this year, the former KFXD building in Nampa was purchased by the History of Idaho Broadcasting Foundation, and plans are underway to open a museum in that location. Foundation president Art Gregory--who is also a long-time member of Boise Southwest Rotary--will be giving us a presentation on local broadcasting history as well as the museum project. At Sockeye Brewing on Fairview near Cloverdale. Join us for our monthly social -- held on the last Thursday of each month (most months). Boise-Southwest Rotary organizes an informal social gathering called at a local bar/eatery. All are welcome!
IN JANUARY: join the group a little earlier--at 4pm--at a car “museum” in the building to the south of Sockeye. There are several rare Packard’s and Chryslers, and a few old trucks and vans. Details to come from John Verity. After this, the group will adjourn to Sockeye 4:30pm for more fellowship.
