Hello Daybreakers,

Wednesday’s meeting saw us in the small room on big tables, enjoying our Wednesday morning get together. Included in our meeting was our AGM, and the announcement of our office bearers for 2018/2019. PE Steve announced that Ian W will continue as Treasurer, Mary as Secretary, and Liza our President Elect. Thankyou to all for offering your time and being willing to lead the membership through the coming year. We all appreciate the effort that it takes and will support you in every way we can.

Continuing with the current trend – there was only one birthday for the week and of course Alison wasn’t there and we didn’t get to sing. Happy Birthday Ali for the 23^rd of November.

Cheryl gave us a report on her visit to Marnoo, and told us of the unique connection the school has with our club. It will be very good to be able to strengthen that with a camping visit next year. I look forward to seeing how this will evolve in the coming years.

Next week (3/12/2017) will be the first of the Pre-Christmas markets on the Civic Green. Please put your unwanted books aside for collection this week.

Please also keep in mind that we are after firm numbers for the IT training in Port Fairy on the 9^th of December at next weeks meeting. If there is a small chance that you may learn something, then it would be wise to attend. Pauline Stewart is a fun trainer and it will be well worth your while being there.

Next week will be a continental breakfast and the cost will be $17.00

Remember to send your apology through to Steve on 0457 926 657 by Midday on Tuesday if you won’t be at the next meeting.

Please also notify Steve if you will be attending the meeting but not having breakfast, as the Mid City require seating as well as breakfast numbers.
