Hello all,
23 Members plus Junior Rotarian Riehan Patel attended our meeting on August 8th.
President Elect, and chair of Strategic Planning, Liza McCosh chaired our Assembly on the recent members survey. We listened to, and participated in, the positive feedback from those present. Two points were taken back to the board for review.
- Dispute Resolution Process
- Result: President to review Club Bylaws & Rules with Glenn Rundell, then make outcome available to members.
- Article 16 of Club Rules covers the process. President to circulate to membership

- Review of club policy on youth attendance at club service projects.
- Result: President and Glenn Rundell to review current club policy documents and SWMS.
- SWMS currently under review
- Existing Club & District youth protection policies currently being reviewed by President and Serge

The meeting adjourned, for some, as we took the opportunity to photograph the current and past Presidents on the steps of The Mid City Motel. My thanks go to Past Presidents Ray Lougheed, Chris Beks and Caroline Monaghan for an early start to their day, your continued support of Daybreak is greatly appreciated.
The current review of feedback from last year’s breakfast survey and current members thoughts is complete. As per announcement from Cheryl, from next week’s meeting breakfast will be cooked each week. The content will alternate weekly as per your feedback.

Anglicare Annual Meeting
Barry Brooker attended Anglicare's Annual Meeting when Daybreak Rotary were thanked for our donation of $400 plus the monthly donation of groceries over the past 3 years.
Anglicare's emergency relief program with food parcels continues to grow with 2200 parcels given out during the past year, valued at over $40000.
The drop in centre provides breakfast each day and 2500 people have used this service providing a growing need for visitors for light refreshment and conversation.
Get Out For Good is a valuable program assisting rehabilitation opportunities for those persons who have completed time within the prison system and who are keen to make a fresh start with their lives. In the past year 1943 calls and visits and team members assisting people leaving the prison system.
Anglicare's total expenditure on welfare for the past year was $153,035.49.

Congratulations to Lydia and the team for the 20th Anniversary Dinner. A wonderful night, lots of surprises, good food, entertainment and plenty of memorabilia. The tables looked terrific, Chris (top hat) Preston did a great job as MC.
