Happy New Year Day Breakers,
We are now in the second half of my Presidency and it's looking like downhill skiing from here.
As we discussed at our breakfast meeting on 4 January 2023, please make yourselves available for rostering at the Summer Market Barbeques for this month of January 2023. We had a great result from last Friday the 30th December 2022.
With potentially stable weather ahead of us for the Friday nights we will still be relatively busy and for those who are doing the double shifts I am sure they will very much appreciate the extra hands particularly as we tend to pack up after 9PM.
The Group 5 face to face meeting with Assistant Governor Peter Simons will be held on 8 February 2023. I am grateful that Cheryl Bellman will be able to attend in my absence.
The Board will meet again on 5 February 2023 and if there is anything that members wish to bring to the board's attention please email Cheryl. Otherwise, enjoy the current festive season and any New Year's resolutions. I don't make any as it's always too difficult to keep them. You, of course, can try although sometimes it's best to just go with the flow.
So Let’s imagine Rotary.
Your President,
Sergio Bacchetti
