This week we welcomed 15 members of Daybreak to our weekly meeting.

President Peter welcomed all members and guests.
We had a fairly low key meeting this week, however, David and Sue Cassidy were with us to accept a certificate of appreciation for Cassign.
David very generously donated his time and materials to sign write our new trailer and boy does it look good. He also spoke briefly about the Gillin Boys Foundation, where we will do a bbq later in the year.
Once again, many thanks to Cassign for their support.
Members Announcements
The joint meeting of all Warrnambool Rotary clubs to celebrate 100 years of Rotary in Australia was held at the City Memorial Bowls Club last Wednesday. It was great to see so many members from the four clubs. Daybreak had a very good representation.
May Race Day breakfast will be held on Thursday 6th May at the Warrnambool Football Netball Club, in Cramer Street, therefore our normal breakfast will not take place. 6.30mstart for those who are helping to set up, but for everyone else it will be 7am. Don’t forget to wear a hat as proceeds are going to hat day for
Australian Rotary Health.
Jan is putting together a raffle for the morning and would like members to drop off suitable raffle items to her place by next Wednesday.
There was also some discussion as to whether we will have balloons or not, given the thinking regarding single use items. We will work out an alternative.
ANZAC day was another quiet occasion with numbers at the dawn service limited to veterans and their families. President Peter was helping to set up for this so he laid a wreath on our behalf at 5.30am. Good one Pete
Glenn tabled a draft proposal for cost of regular breakfasts and visitor protocols.
If everyone can take a good look and get back with comments that would be great.
We had a very successful movie night, last Thursday. Movie had mixed reviews but it helped us raise about $1400 to go towards local projects.
Janey sent around a roster for the May soup kitchen.
