President Peter welcomed 17 members of Daybreak to our meeting.

The meeting started off with Barry’s word of the day “hydrate”
We should all have a big glass of water before bed and one first thing in the morning.
Nine cases of corona virus so far with this current outbreak. Our thoughts are with everyone in the Greater Melbourne area and Bendigo, who are impacted by restrictions.
Group 5 Presidents meeting tonight. We all wait with baited breath to hear what’s happening in group 5.
Chez has touched base with members who have not made it back after covid. Sadly, Leni will not be returning. We will miss her.
Sandra gave an update on the meal issue and presented the email that she sent to WFNC.
There was a reminder from Barry to return his membership survey.
Meals on Wheels
Those members who are rostered on for Fridays in the next month will be notified.

Changeover
The list has gone around for members to indicate their attendance. It will be held at lunchtime on Sunday 4th July.
Quiz
Sandra’s quiz attracted a lot of thought and much competition and the champion of the week was Gerard with 4.
Movie Night
The movie night was a great success and we raised about $1,300. Bit of a sad movie though. Looking for a comedy next time.
Backyard Blitz
This has been scheduled for 5th June. Barry has done a pre-visit to ascertain the needs. He has a friend who will come in early and use the chainsaw to cut back bushes and trim trees. An email will go out to those who have put their name down and we will meet there at 9am.
Chez and jenny, who are unable to be there on the 5th, have already spent a couple of hours mowing and tidying up the front yard.

Glen had to pay an exit tax for leaving the state and travelling to QLD. Then he had to pay double for falling asleep in the plane.
Chez for parking in the disabled carpark. She said she couldn’t see the sign on the ground due to the darkness of the hour and the pouring rain.
