Hello Daybreakers,
What a huge difference to last week, we were really spread out this morning. The tables were set in preparation for another booking straight after us.
It had been a busy week, with a Board meeting, the Peace Concert and the Dog Trials. Congratulations and thank you to our participants, without our volunteers we would very little.
Andrew and Betty also attended RI President Ian Riseley’s Vice Regal Reception at Government House. Next week Andrew will give us a report, and we’ll see some of Andrew’s photos and some photos that have been shared on Face Book.
For those not at the meeting, it was Gary McLay’s final meeting a Daybreaker, he will be transferring to the Healsville area. Hopefully he has the 28th of July marked in his calendar, and he and Hanh will return to see us.
Dianne and Ian W have been busy with filming, photos and signs. They will be submitting a video to District by the 18th of March and will use the photos from our big photo shoot today. For those who missed it, we walked over the road to the Road Race statue and had many photos taken. It was a big process, but Dianne has big plans for the finished product, which Ian is compiling, and hopefully we will get to see it next week.
Julie Eagles will be our guest speaker next week. She is involved in the Community Garden and also the Silver Ball Project.
