On Monday the Thoroughbred Club launched a local chapter in Warrnambool. What better time to do it than at the start of race week! The luncheon was also a fundraiser for both our club and Myeloma Australia, a cause long supported by our club. One particularly pleasing moment was Karen Wilde announcing she is now in remission with her myeloma. Great news. Congratulations to John Hutson on organising such a wonderful event.
Wilde Racing generously donated a share in in a race horse for auctioning on the day. Matt Northeast skilfully auctioned the horse to a syndicate of Rotarians led by Mark McFadden.
