Last Thursday the RC of Warrnambool East hosted the other three Rotary clubs at the Warrnambool Football Club. Guest speaker was Ken Hutt, who explained his plans to summit Mount Everest and then jump off the mountain in a 2.5kg paraglider. He is doing this to raise funds for Rotary’s End Polio project, which he is clearly passionate about. On the night the RC of East Warrnambool announce they were donating $2,000 to End Polio and our District Governor announced that District 9780 was donating $50,000 to End Polio. By this important metric, Ken’s trip is already a success.
