Yesterday we kicked off our second year of container recycling at the Jericho Cup in partnership with the Warrnambool Racing Club. Rotarians rolled their sleeves up and we kept another 5,767 containers out of landfill and recycled them through TOMRA. It provides us more valuable funds that we return to the community through Rotary service projects. We thank TOMRA again for their assistance. We have now collected and recycled 77,924 containers since the Victorian Container Recycling Scheme began. A big thank you once again to all the Rotarians who came out to help on the day.
