Our guest speaker was Issy Seibel. She spoke about the Crystal Lee Foundation, which was set up as the dying wish of Crystal Lee who died of cancer in 2019. The foundation is funded by donations and provides support to young people who are facing the end of their lives. The foundation also provides grief counselling to the families of young people who have died.
Issy does work for the Crystal Lee Foundation and is also involved with Hospice. She is located at 18 Flaxman Street and is an experienced grief counsellor who provides grief counselling to a range of clients. Issy did note that she is happy to see almost anyone, but would not provide grief counselling to people who have lost at golf or own a share in a very bad horse. Issy noted that grief is a normal part of life and is not a mental health issue. We thank Issy for the important work that she is doing and for taking the time to talk to us.
