Warrnambool Central celebrated their annual change-over dinner last weekend.
Warrnambool Central Rotary thanked our retiring President, Gerard Barker, and his board for a wonderful year under trying circumstances. Paul Harris fellowships were awarded to a number of members, including to Malcolm McPherson for his years of contribution organising our Charity Auction (amongst other things). We thanked Tim Goodall, Marc McFadden and Sam Baulch who all retired from the board after years of service. Congratulations to Garry Askew on a much deserved Feral Award. No doubt Rebecca is thrilled to have it on the mantlepiece.
We welcomed our new board and President; Greg, Garry, Brendan, Robbo, Bore, Hayessey, Bob and Matt. It was also exciting to welcome James as our 2022-23 President-elect.
Thanks to Deputy-Mayor Richard Zeigler, and our returned exchange student Yann Fiedler and his father, Christian, for sharing the night with us.
