Cecilia Carvalho gave us an update on her project to support the people of Ukraine, Partners in Peace. Through feedback from partners in Ukraine, Cecilia and the Partners in Peace have moved from donating goods to providing direct financial support. The Partners for Peace have seven members, three of whom are in Ukraine. Cecilia has a project to obtain tax deductibility for Partners for Peace. The Rotary Club of Warrnambool East has been very generous in supporting this effort but she has requested our support to cover a $430 GST bill. We thank Cecilia for taking the time to talk to us again about her great project.
