The Rotary pharmaceutical blister pack recycling project is off to a big start. Thanks to the support of the Warrnambool City Council and local pharmacies, and wonderful support with community awareness from ACE radio, The Standard and ABC radio, public support for the project has been enormous. An estimated 11,000 pharmaceutical blister packs have been recycled in the first two weeks since the project was launched. These blister packs will now be forwarded to Phamacycle for recycling.
