The Club submitted a District Grant Application to assist in paying for a portion of the costs associated with the school build in February in Svay Rieng, Cambodia. Our grant was approved and we received an additional $2,000 from District that went towards the cost of supplying the desks and chairs for the school room, two large sewing tables, as well as a library.
A team of Rotarians from 7010 participated in the build, enduring work days of over 35º C of heat but the job was completed on time.
Seen here are pictures of the furniture being delivered as well as the finished library in the school room to be enjoyed by all the students.
