Allan Bassett, Warrnambool & District Foodshare - A Growing Need.

Food is collected from local supermarkets and restaurants, as well as a weekly delivery from parent organisation Foodbank Victoria, and is distributed in the form of hampers. Demand is currently outstripping supply. The need for volunteers is great, the need for donations of food is great and the need for a permanent premises and equipment is great. In the first three weeks of June 3653 kilograms of food was distributed in the form of 106 hampers.
