Effervescent Bath Capsules: 10 parts of tartaric acid, 9 parts of sodium bicarbonate, 6 parts of rice flower. Can be used as a powder or compressed into capsule or tablet form. Mix with alcohol to dampen before compressing.

Hand Lotion: Dissolve by heat 1 drachm boric acid and 6 drachms glycerine. Let it cool, then mix with 6 drachms of lanolin and 1 oz of petrolatum. Add perfume as desired.
