MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tony Austin said the next round of the Eisteddfod is coming up very soon, and would members who can help, please fill the roster sheets he left on the tables.  In Tony’s absence Gordon Curran will keep members up to date regarding the roster.

 

Steve Giddens reported that one of the Rotary Club of Warrnambool’s honour boards is now hanging on the wall in our meeting room.   Another will soon be going up in the room next door. 

 

Brian Trenery brought along to the meeting our club’s defibrillator, which was funded by local philanthropic trusts, the Gwen & Edna Jones, and Ray & Joyce Uebergang Foundations. Project partners included South West Credit Union, as part of their 50 Year Celebration and our Club. A training session for Club members will be arranged shortly. shed by Sue Buckman and Andrew White.A trAA 

 

Ian advised that Father of the Year will be in September but, he will have the forms that are to be delivered to the schools, next Tuesday.  He asked that members delivering the forms to the schools deliver to the right person and to “sell the idea!”  Ian suggested that we replace our regular Tuesday evening meeting  (on 1/9/15) by the Father of the Year breakfast the following morning on Wednesday 2 September.
