Hospice in the Home

A Victorian-first Hospice in the Home service to be launched in Warrnambool will allow more local people to fulfill their wish to die at home.

Seventy per cent of people prefer to die at home but in Warrnambool less than 15 per cent get to achieve that final wish. Hospice in the Home will be manned by specially trained volunteers and will be integrated with existing medical and health services.
