A MEMBERSHIP MOMENT
Rotary branding and Rotary membership work hand in hand. How often have we heard, “What’s Rotary?” What does it do?” Would you join a club that you didn’t really know what it did or what its projects and programs were? The old clique, we need to raise the profile and tell our stories. The resent survey, completed by our members, identified that you are proud of our club and what we do, so let’s tell others who we are.

We can raise our public image with simple things such as always wearing our Rotary lapel badge or wearing the Rotary branded jacket, vests, caps, polo shirts. Our social media sites are kept up-to-date so let’s refer people to them as well.

I wrote in the membership article printed in the weekly bulletin of 28th August 2018, of the “Intrinsic Reward” we get, the great feeling we get from helping someone less fortunate and in need. Let’s promote our Club and introduce other community minded people to membership so they too can be given the opportunity to experience that “Intrinsic Reward,” a must if we are to attract and retain new members.
