Exchange Student Update
Louise Keogh reported that exchange student Karla is on the Safari tour and outbound student Ryan has completed 3 months away. He has just celebrated a birthday and has moved to a new host family. He rides his bike to school each day.
Pride of Workmanship Awards
We are now looking for nominations for the Pride of Workmanship Award which is given to members of the public who excel in their work. Any suggestions, let Richard Hawker know.
Sausage Sizzle - Sunday May 8
RCW has been asked to provide a sausage sizzle to feed 40 people participating in a ride from Glenelg SA to Warrnambool. They will arrive at around 10:30 am for 40 minutes and then be gone. If you can spare some time, please let Richard know.
RAWCS Project to East Timor
Frank Monger reported that this project in East Timor is coming up for two weeks and any volunteers would be most welcome.
Interplast Raffle Tickets
Judy still has tickets available at $10.00.
Eisteddfod
Tony Austin called for volunteers to manage the Eisteddfod roster this year, as Ron Rauert has retired from this task after many years.
Pledges from businesses are starting to come in. Now that all businesses would have received their letter about the auction, members are encouraged to start following up for donations.
