Our meeting on the 14th April was at Deakin University and other Clubs were invited to attend.
Our Guest Speakers were Rohan Keert, Director & Jordan Smith, Head of Programs from the Warrnambool STEM technical school and Nekoda Bellinger our National Youth Science Forum student.

Birthdays Leon 12th & Alan Bowes is coming up on the 24th April.
Nekoda gave us an interesting summation of his experiences at the NYSF in Canberra, He obviously gained useful insights into the career opportunities in the science and technical fields. He isa very well spoken young man and the Club is pleased to have sponsored him.
Rohan and Jordan gave us a detailed insight into how the soon to be opened Warrnambool Technical School will operate. They are both very well qualified and passionate enough to develop this school and its students into a first class STEM institution.

On Thursday I attended the RYLA presentation night at Kangaroobie in support of our sponsored participant Nakaya Frankland. She and the other 21 participants were enthusiastic about the course and how it has positively affected them. Congratulations our Rachel for her leadership of the event.

Reminder! We are collecting 10c bottles for our projects. This is a really easy way of earning 100% profit for out club. You can utilise the app, or Brooke has business cards with the barcode on it. All you need to do is scan the barcode at the machine, then put the bottles in.
Alternatively, you can put your bottles in the bucket at each Rotary meeting, or drop them to Brooke and George's house on Kelp St.
