WEDDING GOWN EXHIBITION

Congratulations to Anne Adams, who coordinated a display of wedding fashions that span more than a century over the weekend. About 120 people came to the tiny rural Wangoom hall to see the dresses, which date back to 1880, and help raise about $1500 for the local Red Cross group. “It’s just been amazing the way local people have rallied around to help,” Anne said. Some 40 people supplied the 87 wedding dresses on display which all had links to the Wangoom area.
