VALE JOHN O'SULLIVAN

Honorary member John O’Sullivan passed away at his home at Purnim on Saturday 15. John joined our club on November 4, 2004. Many newer members may not have met John as he had a severe stroke 5 years ago and has not been able to attend our meetings since that time. John was a very active member of the Purnim community through the Church, St Marcellus School, the CFA and the Hall Committee. He was also a Warrnambool Shire Councillor and a very forward thinking member of the dairy industry. He also with his wife Kath and their family purchased Leahy’s Funeral Directors a business his family still runs. A funeral time will be notified later. Our thoughts are with John's family at this sad time.
