PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
In President Maree’s absence Michael Boyd as Acting President welcomed Rotarian's and their three visiting guests – Robyn Blackmore, Margaret Stuckey and Rosie Portbury. Michael also welcomed our special guests for the night Eric Fairbank and Kerry Robertson from Hospice in the Home.
Michael spoke encouragingly to Rotarian's and asked them to follow up with phone calls and visits on the fund raising/donations letters which have already been sent. All items donated are to be brought into Rotary and they will later be stored at the old BBQs Galore building until the fund raising auction.
Next week’s meeting will be a very special one commemorating the 100th anniversary of ANZAC and Gallipoli. Michael encouraged Rotarian's to bring family and guests to next week’s meeting as a lot of work has gone into making it a special night.
When closing the meeting later in the evening, members who were on duty next week were reminded to check the roster to see what role they had!
