OPENING

The meeting was opened by Sergeant Andrea Sampson who told a joke about the two Irish men who tried Viagra for the first time. Some time after starting their medication they met up and asked one another how they found the new drug. Paddy said it was wonderful and it had changed his life. Mick asked if there had been any side effects and Paddy said no, none that he knew of. Mick said he’d experienced side effects because his wife was now having the same headaches she used to get.

Andrea welcomed all Rotarians and it was noted that our only visitors tonight were our two guest speakers - retired Warrnambool Standard journalist Peter Collins, accompanied by his wife Gayle, and retired Warrnambool Standard photographer Damian White.
