OBJECT OF ROTARY

Secretary Anne Adams opened the meeting, by quoting the Object of Rotary which is to encourage the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and in particular to encourage:

*   The enjoyment of fellowship as an opportunity for service.  

*   The promotion of high ethical standards in our work and personal lives.

*   The recognition of the worthiness of all occupations as an opportunity to serve society.

*   The application of the ideal of service in our personal, business, professional and community lives.

*   The advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace through our world fellowship.
