Help wanted:  Assistance sought for a lady in Jamieson Street (mowing and weeding). Previously we have provided assistance and additional help is now required.  Marie, Judy, Andrea and Mel have volunteered their time.

Fashion Parade this Sunday 22nd October.  Sales going well, Robbie Blackmore champion in ticket sales at this time.  A good afternoon anticipated with many prizes to be given away.
 
Christmas in a Shoe Box:  Judy informed the meeting, next week is the last chance to bring items along.  Judy talked about the value of new exercise books and children are commonly having to write in pencil and rub out to reuse. All donatons are appreciated.  Please remember that the items need to fit into a shoe-box and be self-sustaining (no battery operated items). Please bring along anything you can think of to contribute.
 
5-Cent JarAnn & Judy were discussing past Foundation funding raising activities. A 5 cent jar is being reintroduced. Please bring along your 5 cent pieces to donate.
 
Foodshare bin is available for donations.  Vegemite & peanut butter are both very popular, along with cans of baked beans and spaghetti.
 
Eisteddfod film night:  ‘The Mountain Between Us’ tomorrow night 6.30-7.00
 
Show Gates coming up next week. A few new members were missed off the roster. Please contact Mal with your availability as the roster can be revised.  All volunteers are issued with ID badges. Individuals will be responsible to return the badges at the end of the shift along with fluorescent jackets. Rotary T/shirts are not required to be worn.
 
Members: Ron Rauert is currently in St John of God hospital. Eric Williams celebrated his 97th birthday.
