The cheapest way to eradicate ants is to spray the infested areas with a mixture of petrol and sump oil. A weak solution of corrosive sublimate is very deadly to ants. In addition to eventually killing the ants, it causes them to violently attack each other.

 

3 parts of oil of rhodium, 2 parts oil of cumin, 1 part of tincture of musk. Mix together and put a drop or two on the bait.
