Deakin Day on The Green

Community Services Director John Harris reminded members of the barbecue on January 16 9.30 – 2.30 and is seeking helpers on the day. Predicted temperatures are 39C!

Former Student Exchangees

Rotarian John Harris also reported on contacts with former Exchange Students Eleanor who will shortly graduate as a doctor in Sweden, and Nick Jenkins in America, also about to complete university studies, this time in Alaska, and proud father of a little boy.

Peace Concert

Thursday March 6, just prior to the Folk Festival, and members for a Rotary Choir are being sought. Practices are being held at the Hammond Centre, Christ Church on Thursdays at 5.30 pm. Contact Judy Ross if interested in joining in.
