ERIC WILLIAMS
Last week after Rotary, Eric Williams tripped and had a fall. He is at home being looked after by his daughter. If anyone would like to visit him or give him a phone call it would be appreciated.

MAILORS FLAT RURAL NIGHT
Gordon Curran thanked all Club members who went to the Mailors Flat Rural Night, especially Tony Austin for organising the drinks. About 50 people attended.

BBQ FOR INTERNATIONAL WORKERS AT MIDFIELD
Gordon Curran also advised that our Club will be organising a BBQ lunch for the international workers at Midfields on Sunday 12 April at Flagstaff Hill. Helpers needed.

ROTARY LIGHTS PROJECT - APOLOGIES
In thanking Rotarians at our meeting last week, I overlooked three Rotarians, President Marie, Duncan Stalker and John Hunt.
Please accept my apologies. I took all the other names from the JSA but missed these three. If I have overlooked anyone else, please accept this as my thanks for your involvement in the Rotary Lights Program.  Brian

ANZAC DAY SPECIAL
On Tuesday 21 April 2015, we are planning a special memorial program for the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli. This will be a very special evening and you are invited to bring along your spouse / partner, neighbour, friends, workplace colleagues. PP Duncan Stalker OAM has organised a special evening and we owe it to our fallen to remember them on this special occasion.

COMBINED MAY RACE DAY MEETING - THURSDAY 7 MAY
This promises to be another enjoyable meeting with funds raised going to ARH. Matty Stewart will once again do a phantom race call. Our Tuesday meeting on 5 May is cancelled. Instead, on Thursday 7 May, a combined meeting is to be held at the Mid City Motel at 7:00 am. Please let Anne Adams know as soon as possible if you plan on attending.

FATHER OF THE YEAR
Ian Cairns advised that the committee for the Father of the Year had their first meeting and with our Club's support, have decided not to have a guest speaker at this year's breakfast. The thinking behind this decision was that as time is limited, it would be better to spend more time on the Fathers' stories.

ROTOACT TRIVIA NIGHT
Jessie Sheppard, who was our last year's RYLA participant and is now a Rotaractor, encouraged our Club to come to their Trivia Night later in the year. She also talked about some of the projects Rotaract will be doing this year.
