Port Fairy Folk Festival
David Brown provided rosters to those who have volunteered to help out at the Folkie this weekend. To date 10 Rotarians have volunteered and 13 people from outside Rotary. They can look forward to seeing some terrific acts scheduled for Tent 1 as well as other acts throughout the weekend. Please let David know asap (Ph 0438 647 536) if there are any last minute changes.
Voices for Peace Concert - Thursday 5 March
Judy Ross reminded us that Voices for Peace will be held on 5 March at the Lighthouse Theatre at 7.30 pm. Tickets are $30 from Judy ($35 if you just walk in off the street). All profit to support the Rotary Foundation Peace Scholarships.
Rotary Lights Project - Monday 23 March
10 volunteers are needed for this project. There will be a meeting after our regular meeting on 17 March for anyone interested in helping out.

Rotary Foundation Movie Night fundraiser for "End Polio Now" - 13 March
Mary Fitzgerald advised that this film evening is to be held on Friday 13 March at 7pm at the Capitol Cinema in Kepler Street. Mary advised us that the film “The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" actually opens on the 26 February and she asked Rotarians to hold off seeing it until the fund raiser night. Tickets are $20 (of which $11 goes to the END POLIO NOW program). The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel stars Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Richard Gere and many other well-known actors and is the sequel to The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Both movies are based on the novel “These Beautiful Things” written by Deborah Moggach. Google “Marigold Hotel” and you can find out much more about both movies.
Rural Urban Night at Mailors Flat Community Hall - 24 March
All are welcome and members are encouraged to invite guests. Terry O'Sullivan is the guest speaker and he will be talking about the redevelopment of the Warrnambool airport.
If any members have a Responsible Serving of Alcohol certificate, please let Gordon Curran know because your help may be needed on this night in serving alcohol. If anyone is interested in getting their RSA, TAFE regularly runs these short one evening courses for around $90.
Lyndoch Auxiliary Annual Fete - Thursday 19 March
in the Hostel Activities Room at 1:00 pm.
Cakes, biscuits, slices, jams and relishes, books, CD's, vinyls, plants, craft, produce and much more. Raffle $1. Spinning wheel and afternoon tea.
All welcome and any donations of cakes or produce on the day would be greatly appreciated.
